Author Haley Shapley calls Olympia “a central gathering place”. Midway between Seattle and Portland, Washington’s state capital is conveniently placed, accessible, and charming. This “All-American City” boasts a restored waterfront, active downtown, immediate access to nature, and superior shopping – all at reasonable small-city prices.
