The Officers and Board of Directors of Puget Sound Bonsai Association are proud to present the Club’s new logo. The creation of the logo, designed by club member Thaison Kawal in collaboration with past president Tony Fajarillo and current vice president David De Groot, has been a five year process which began with club member logo design submissions that led to the selection of Thaison as the designer of choice by the board.

It’s that time again…

Time to pay dues for next year, that is.
We are rolling out a new dues rate for members who are younger than 30 years. If you are renewing and are not yet 30 years old, dues for 2025 for each member will be $20 in 2024, or $30 in 2025. Look for that selection on the
Square web store.
Renewal dues for 2025 for the rest of us members who don’t fall into that category are $40 for an individual and $60 for a couple/family membership in 2024, and then $50 and $70 in 2025.
Don’t delay, renew today!!

Many thanks to two PSBA presidents of the past!!

The book is “The Tree Collectors: Tales of Arboreal Obsessions”, by Amy Stewart (who lives in Portland). I could not put it down. One of my people sent me this link below about a zoom presentation with Amy Stewart.

The really cool part is the book mentions the PBM and the chapter about bonsai is on Enrique Castaño, our PSBA guest artist in November!

2021 Virtual Spring Show

The Puget Sound Bonsai Association was formed in 1973. We are a non-profit corporation dedicated to the education of its members and the general public in the art and culture of bonsai. Club members have bonsai experience that ranges from beginner to recognized experts in the art. PSBA holds regularly scheduled club meetings featuring demonstrations and educational programs by national and international bonsai artists. The club also stages public shows and participates in community events where members' trees are showcased.
